This is the holistic approach to care that the community of Canterbury embraces.
While Canterbury offers independent & assisted support, along with its unique and respectful approach for dementia care in its brand new renovated memory care wing, The Lane, what Canterbury really offers is the freedom for seniors to live a carefree life.
Our health care team includes a Registered Nurse (RN) available 24 hours a day and on-site certified Health Care Aides (HCA). We also have a team of in-hour physicians available week-days.
Besides personal assistance with daily living, all three living options offer a wide range of additional health care services including:
Dance, sing, play, work-out and just have a good time with our non-stop calendar of entertainment and activities provided by our full service entertainment team.
Want to get out and about? Hop our daily shuttle service to shopping centers, excursions and popular attractions around the city.
Reverend Colleen Sanderson is Canterbury’s own on-site Spiritual Care Chaplain. She provides spiritual support to all faith communities regardless of spiritual background or cultural identity.
Canterbury leads bible studies and worship services in Canterbury’s on-site chapel. Through the month, we invite community clergy to come from two Anglican churches and clergy from other denominations to provide a varied amount of spiritual care offerings to residents. Canterbury believes this spiritual support complements the physical care residents receive at Canterbury.
Rev. Colleen Sanderson is also available to provide one-on-one spiritual care for families of residents.
