I particularly appreciate: the wonderful homecare staff with their unfailing competencies and courtesy (I couldn’t manage without them); the opportunity weekly to attend chapel right here; the dining room services when I need them; and the good manners of the staff at all levels, which is unbelievably constant! Though, like any Manor resident I am always as independent as possible, it is good to know that should a health crisis occur, there is good, very competent experienced help to call on for immediate assistance.

Tea with the Queen
We all had a wonderful time at the Annual Tea with the Queen. Food, music, dancing and taking photos with the Queen herself - in cardboard form!
On May 22nd the residents of Canterbury Foundation and their families enjoyed an afternoon tea with the Queen of England! She was at Canterbury with Will and Kate...in cardboard form!
We enjoyed the wonderful company of the Royals, food, conversation, music from the Fire Department Band of Edmonton and dancing.
We would like to thank our wonderful volunteers from the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel for helping to make events like this one a great success!
These wonderful volunteers came to Canterbury twice, April 24th and May 22nd, to help with set-up, take down and serving refreshments to the residents during the Friday afternoon entertainment. We are thrilled to have them volunteer and would like to thank the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel for sending their staff team to support seniors in their community!
