Canterbury's Golf Tournament a Great Success!
The Canterbury Foundation Third Annual Charity Golf Tournament was held on June 26, 2018 at the beautiful Highlands Golf Club in central Edmonton.
The event was a great success, and with the participation of many amazing sponsors, $11,500 was fundraised for the Canterbury Foundation Community Outreach program. This program seeks to provide our residents and seniors in our surrounding community with on-site access to social work and chaplain services. We see, first hand, the benefit every day of having a Social worker and most recently, a Chaplain on site, and we see the difference in residents that are fighting many issues related to adding; social isolation, anxiety, depression, transition issues, and many more. Our Outreach Program team places a strong emphasis on ensuring their services are accessible and experienced by all.
Thank you for all of our sponsors, guests, and volunteers, for making our Third Annual Charity Golf Tournament a tremendous success! It was a fantastic day, and we are so grateful you could be there with us! We look forward to seeing you next year!
