I particularly appreciate: the wonderful homecare staff with their unfailing competencies and courtesy (I couldn’t manage without them); the opportunity weekly to attend chapel right here; the dining room services when I need them; and the good manners of the staff at all levels, which is unbelievably constant! Though, like any Manor resident I am always as independent as possible, it is good to know that should a health crisis occur, there is good, very competent experienced help to call on for immediate assistance.

Christmas Donors & Foundation Appreciation Event

On November 24th, 2016 Canterbury Foundation held a Donors and Foundation Appreciation evening to kick off the holiday season. This event was to formally acknowledge our donors, sponsors, volunteers, and foundation members for their dedication and contributions to Canterbury Foundation.

Over 70 people were in attendance including Canterbury residents and their families. It was a wonderful evening of fellowship and delicious food as we shared information about Canterbury’s fundraising efforts, programs and plans for the future.

“On behalf of all residents and family, I would like to thank you all. Canterbury Canterbury supporters, donors, sponsors, foundation member, board, management and staff! Board, management and staff are working hard with passion and compassion to make our lives full of joy, active, safe and healthy,” shared Joan Rossall, Chair of the Manor Resident Association.

Brian Popp, Board Chair stated, “We cannot do what we do without your support. Thank you, from all of us at Canterbury Foundation.”
