Canterbury Manor means to me a safe, attractive place in which I can live during my declining years with a maximum amount of privacy yet use opportunities to socialize with a variety of pleasant other residents when I wish to do so.

Canterbury Director Receives Citizen Award

Canterbury Foundation’s Director of Health Services, Mide Seyi-Ajayi and his friend Christoff were honoured with a Citizen Award from the Edmonton Police Commission. The two rescued a teenaged girl who was hanging dangerously from the Mackenzie Ravine bridge after attempting suicide. The Citizen Award acknowledges citizens who have put themselves at risk by coming to the aid of a police officer or fellow citizen in a dangerous situation, and in doing so have prevented injury, trauma or death.
